STAFF

Colette (Coco) Taylor is the Executive Production Director and the Director of Camp KidJam at The reThink Group. She was the Director of Family Ministry at North Point Community Church for 10 years. She oversaw all of the Grow Up conferences and played an integral part in developing all of the family ministry environments. Coco has two beautifully talented daughters; Kristi is 26 (and writing this biography) and Jessica who is 17. She lives in North Georgia with my dad... I mean, her husband, of 28 years.

Kristi Taylor is the Assistant Director of Camp KidJam and also works in the Marketing and Product Development Department of The reThink Group. She received her BA in Musical Theatre from Samford University in Birmingham, Ala. While at Samford, Kristi worked with the Summer Theatre Camp for three years and had the opportunity to teach Creative Drama and perform several shows at some Birmingham city schools. Kristi currently lives in Atlanta and hopes to earn her Master’s in Theatre for Young Audiences someday. And one last thing... GO DAWGS!!

Ricky Wise is the Assistant Camp Director of Camp KidJam. He was sucked into the reThink bubble when he met Colette and Kristi in the summer of 2008, and has remained ever since.  He officially joined The reThink Group in 2009, which is fitting, since Orange is one of his favorite colors.  Ricky received his BA in Business Administration from Saint Leo University in Saint Leo, Florida. He also serves as Youth Minister, Music Director, and Sunday school teacher at House of Prayer #2 Apostolic Church in Marietta, Georgia. Ricky has worked in children/youth ministry for more than 10 years.  He is also a songwriter, poet and playwright. He also loves eating Snickers bars and playing the drums (not at the same time, of course). And above all, he loves making a positive impact in the lives of children.

Greg Payne aspires to be a fine woodworker, but realizes it would take more time, patience, and skill than he will ever possess. Fortunately, his roles as a writer/creator/product developer at The reThink Group, do not require him to measure, cut straight lines, or do much math. He is one of the original KidStuf actors but still prefers to not be called the “Worlds Oldest Gordo.” He was on staff at North Point Community Church for eight years in various creative capacities within Family Ministries. So far Greg has realized his dreams of becoming a husband to an incredible wife far above anything he’s ever deserved; a father of two girls who, despite his genetic contributions, are beautiful and wise; and a motorcycle owner (probably listed in that order).

Brandon O’Dell is a professional actor with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre from Shorter College. He has been performing as host of Kidstuf at Buckhead Church and Browns Bridge Community Church for six years. He began writing Family Production as a freelance writer before joining the reThink Group in 2007. He currently writes Family Production scripts, Large Group curriculum, and the scripts for the DVD project, Studio 252. In August 2009, Brandon and his wife, Rachel, welcomed their first daughter, Lydia Jane, into the reThink family.

Growing up with a pastor for a father, Wyndi Beck began volunteering with children at an early age. She has led children and students from birth through college. She is excited about the opportunity to create a more holistic approach to influencing families in her role as the Family Ministry Director of Watermarke Church in Kennesaw, Georgia. Wyndi has also helped train family ministry leaders internationally and serves on the creative team for Camp KidJam. In her spare time, she's trying to figure out how to add more hours to the day.

Mike Sloop has an industrial engineering degree from Georgia Tech, a masters in environmental engineering from N.C. State, and teaching certificate from North Georgia College and State University. He has a passion for all things science and loves engaging kids with exciting, hands-on experiments that show how fun and cool science can be. Mike has taught 8th graders physical and earth science for the past six years in Cumming, Georgia, and was Forsyth County’s 2006 Teacher of the Year. Throughout the year he leads a small group of 10th graders at his local church and during the summers he navigates the experiment-laden waters of the MythBusters track at Camp KidJam.

Michael Wahl is the proud father of three amazing girls, Brittney (11), Bailey (9), and Bethany (7). He has been married to his best friend Starla for 13 years. Michael served in the Army and somewhere between the Army and College he lost his hair (if you find it please let him know). He's currently the Family Pastor at Hope Church in Dallas, Ga, where he is the proud mastermind behind hundreds of pranks, has created crazy games, and has been relating to Children and Students for over 15 years. His favorite candy bar is Butterfinger and he always drinks it with a Diet Dr. Pepper to even things out. Michael loves to Sky dive, Scuba dive, and sometimes he even like to do the Swan dive. But, most of all he love to share the love of Christ in a relevant and fun way.

Adam Duckworth has been involved in family ministry for nearly ten years beginning right out of high school. Adam completed a Language Arts and Public Relations degree from the University of Toledo and then went directly into full time ministry in Southeast Michigan. He is currently the Minister to Children and Families at First Baptist Church of Fort Lauderdale in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Adam relocated in November of 2008 from Michigan to help lead FBCFL through their Orange transition. In the summertime, you can find Adam hosting and teaching at Camp KidJam. He and his wife, Katelyn, love to spend their free time fueling their obsession with all things Disney.

After working in secular production for TV and radio, including the 1996 Olympics, Jeffrey Reed was called into full-time ministry and has worn many hats: student pastor, children's pastor, worship leader, executive pastor, etc. He also serves as a consultant to churches across the country for ministry and curriculum development. He specializes in working with churches that have limited or no resources. Jeffrey and his wife, Katherine, have been married for 15 years and have four children. He is a regular speaker for The reThink Group at the Orange Conference and Camp KidJam. You can check out an occasional blog post from Jeffrey at www.jeffreyreed.org. Oh... and Jeffrey likes Disney more than Adam.
